The design of this production was a collaboration between the set, costume, sound, and lighting designers. I began the design journey by exploring the unique structures, textures, and colors of mushrooms.

We achieved a surreal, dream-like environment by playing with scale and color. Lit elements integrated in the set evoke magic and bioluminescence, and varying levels, tunnels, and under-stage pathways turn the set into an organic playground.
